Jessica Hagen Fine Art + Design is pleased to announce the opening of EMERGING FORMS: Hope Benson + Whitney Hagen on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 5:00-7:00pm. Hope Benson and Whitney Hagen are young, emerging, female artists who both hail from families with strong artistic roots. Hope Benson is continuing her family’s 120-year stone carving tradition in the form of carved beach stones. The artist uses her skills to create abstract explorations in form and color which reflect her individuality and creative point of view. Artist Whitney Hagen will be presenting a collection of abstract paintings on wood panel that demonstrate her interest in the relationships and intricacies of form and color and how the viewer chooses to perceive them in compositions that are not expressive of an inherent narrative. Hagen graduated from Bard College in 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in studio art, continuing the tradition of art making handed down by both sides of her family.
